LIVING WORD TOPIC-APRIL 6, 2014“UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH!”
THE PERFECT WAY ~PSALM 18:30
APRIL 6, 2014BULLETINRAY’S REMARKS:
What a glorious Lord’s Day we had this past Sun-day. The weather was nice and we had a good attendance. Furthermore, everyone seemed in good spirits and happy to be together to worship God.We also had a great 5th Sunday contribution and a wonderful turnout forthe potluck. In fact, there were over 100 that stayed for the potluck andwhat a great time of fellowship it was. We are so blessed to be a part of aloving and active family of God. Thanks to everyone for their love for Godand their willingness to do His Will!
We also had our sister Wanda McElfish come forward Sunday Morn-ing. She was asking for prayers of forgiveness for any sins in her life. Shealso requested special prayer for some family situations she is dealing with.Let’s pray for sister Wanda and let’s encourage her in every way we can soshe might find strength during this difficult time.
Well, believe it or not we are now in the Month of April. It’s hard toimagine that three months of this year have flown by, but so far we havebeen well blessed in it as the people of God. As the weather is nowimproving and the spring time of the year is here, let’s all make an extraeffort to do the work of God. So many of our family, friends, neighbors andco-workers need to know God and obey His Word. Brothers and sisters, youmay be the only connection they have to the Lord’s church! So, please takeadvantage of every opportunity to live for Christ and to shine before this lostworld, as a faithful Child of God. With God’s help, all things truly are possible!
Well, two years have gone by since I last traveled to Ghana to encour-age the brethren in Kumasi, where we have a Preachers’ Training School. Iam now making plans to go near the end of May and I am blessed to havebrother Brent going with me again. Also, Nikki and Hannah will be goingwith us to encourage the many young people and Christians their age inGhana. We might also have a least one more brother go who is consideringthe trip. Please keep our preparation, plans and this trip in your prayers. Wehave a lot to do to get ready for the trip, but with God’s help we will succeed.I look forward to the great work which is ahead in Ghana to encouragebrethren, preach the Gospel to the lost and to study with those who need tounderstand God’s saving Word!
Let me also remind you men that the men’s breakfast is April 12. Ihope many of you are able to be a part of this time of fellowship andencouragement.
I look forward to our assembly this coming Lord’s day. Make sure toproperly prepare to give God your very best and be ready to worship yourGod. I’ll see you there! God bless!

At this time, we have three students whoare committed to coming to the BIM in August. There is a possibility of two more that we knowof. It takes a lot of time for a school of preach-ing to get established. By our diligence, the Lordcontinues to bless this good work.
