As we approach Labor Day weekend, I want to remind you that your place of work is your mission field. You are not there by accident. God has strategical-ly placed you in the environment and among those people. Don’t divorce your work from your worship. Your daily work is a way for you to make a daily
offering to God: work hard, treat people right, live with integrity, honor the workplace rules, and share Christ when God opens doors. I highly recommend a book for you to read. It is not a long book but it is filled with excellent insight and encouragement. The book is The Gospel at Work by Sebastian Traeger and Greg Gilbert. It is worth your time. We will have two separate teams in Ukraine the next two weeks. Please keep these teams in your prayers. You can find the prayer cards at Mission Central. Ken Wheatley will be there for both weeks. Important kingdom work ahead! Thank you for being a church that loves the na-tions. Proclaim is one week closer: September 25-28. Have you cleared your calendar? Are you pray-ing for God to move in your life, in lost people, and in the church? Our leadership team is a strong one: Clay Hallmark is the preacher. Mark Maier is the Worship Leader. Craig Smith is leading the children in their own services while the rest of us are in the sanctuary. It’s been elev-en years since we’ve done anything like this. Let’s give it our best and trust God to do the rest. As we continue our series, When God Crosses His Heart, this Sunday we will be thinking together about God’s promise in times of dismay to strengthen, help, and hold us. It is from Isaiah 41:10. I am praying God will use this to bring great encouragement and hope. See you Sunday. Your Pastor, John
Last Call for Pictorial Directories
If you would like to pick up a directory for your family, this Sunday will be the last opportunity that our volunteers will be in the foyer. After this Sunday, you will need to come by the office during office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Thanks to Jim and Carolyn Rob-erts for coordinating our volunteers. Thanks to Lee Barnett and Katy Wreyford for coordinating our ministry pages. Special thanks to Dana Murphy and all her volunteers for coordinating our family pictures! Well Done!

Sharing life, sharing the Gospel, wherever you GO
There’s a reason 31 of our youth and parents went to Honduras on Mission in
July and you need to hear their story. Meet them at the monthly Mission pray-er breakfast and celebrate what God is
doing there and how he is using our youth to tell HIS story.
