LIVING IN BRITAIN (IN 2110)

The survey was con!:!ucted by MOR! for UIT's "Breadl"-ne Bnta1n"

series. Fieldwork was conducted among a quota sample of

1,174 respondents aged 16+ across 80 points throughout Great

Br~ta1n bet~een 15-24 February 1983. The sample was based on

census enume~at~on districts stratified by region and was

designed to over-sample poorer areas using ACORN ne~ghbourhocd

types. The data were then weighted to adjust ~or the over­

sampling of particular ACORN neighbourhood types.
