MONDAY 31st OCTOBER - All Leisure Activities (not cooking or floral art) to be brought to school, take to your class. Poem / Tongue Twister written by you. (Judged on content and presentation). Handmade card, birthday or greeting (computer generated, dried flowers, quilling). Art Section, sketching, painting, water colours, posters… Photography, taken by yourself with a description explaining why you chose to take the photo. Craft items, Pottery, Scrap Booking, Scoobies. Fabric Items and Soft Toys Models & Lego Farmlands Sculptures - Please bring sculptures to the HALL as soon as you get to school. TUESDAY 1st November - Craft Day BEFORE SCHOOL all children are to take their muffins, biscuits & aqua jars to the classroom. All decorated cakes, Cooking Cup entries, large floral items & veggie creations are to go straight to the hall. All other items to go to your classroom. Attach name tags & wait until your class is called. 3.00—6.00pm Craft, cooking, leisure activities open for public viewing. Judging will be completed by 3.00pm. Bring along extra money for Livestock Day Raffle count the lollies in the jar”. NOTE: All items MUST be made by the students! Please collect ALL items from the hall after the Livestock activities have finished on Wednesday 2nd November. WEDNESDAY 2nd NOVEMBER - Livestock Day All children who have a calf, kid, lamb or dog are allowed to wear mufti clothes for Livestock Day (please dress sensibly) 8.50am All miscellaneous (small) pets and cats to Science Room. 9.00am judging begins. 9-10am All calves, kids and lambs need to arrive through the bottom soccer field gate (Coronation Road entrance) and parking is available around the edge of the field. 10.00am Students bringing a dog are asked to arrive at school at 10.00am with their dog to avoid the dogs having to be tied up for too long. Dogs are to be secured to the fence by the hockey field. 10.30am Calves, lambs, kids and dog judging begins. Top Team Programme begins. Cats and miscellaneous pets viewed 12.30pm (approx) Lunchtime for all students. Official lunch for judges and staff. 1.40pm Finals for Top Team All students not involved with an animal or involved with catering / organisation for Livestock Day on Wednesday will take part in a Top Team Competition and will require their PE gear. A reminder it is Athletics Day tomorrow, all students will need to bring sun block, a hat, a large drink and lunch as well as their PE gear (students may wear a T-shirt in their team colour). Please remember: all students must come to and from school in their full school uniform and get changed once they are at school. Students rotate through events from 9.00am to 2.55pm. LUNCHES ON WEDNESDAY The Kiwanis van will be in school and available for purchases for visitors from 10.00am—1.30pm. Students MUST pre-order hot food; orders will be taken at the school canteen from Friday until Tuesday. The school canteen will be closed on Wednesday for usual lunch orders and purchases. Kiwanis Food Available Hotdogs $3.00 Hot Chips $3.00 Hot Donuts $1.00 Chocolate bars $1.00 & $2.00 Bottled water $2.00 RAFFLES There will be two raffles available, a “Guess the Lollies in the Jar” raffle which goes towards covering some of the costs of the day and a Kapa Haka Raffle which includes one of two

beautiful hand-knitted dolls kindly made and donated by Jan Illingsworth. (Pictured).

Bring your spare change along and be in to win!! PRIZEGIVING - THURSDAY 3rd NOVEMBER Prizegiving for all Livestock or Craft Day entries will be presented during Assembly on Thursday at 2.15pm.

Families are very welcome to come along during Livestock Day.

Items from Craft Day will be available for viewing on Tuesday from 3.00pm - 6.00pm and during school time on Wednesday.
