Livelyhoods will work directly with your needs to plan the perfect teambuilding for you. We can cater for groups of 5 to 40. ‘The Apprentice’ style small group sales and marketing strategy in the field, to put into practice new sales techniques in a real-life, fast-paced environment in the surrounding community. C ALL TO A CTION Livelyhoods will submerge your team in a full day’s teambuilding that will challenge them to venture out into the streets of Nairobi, battling against the clock to bring life-changing products to the community. Teams will be made up of your staff, who will put their skills to the test in a unique setting, and youth and women from the slum communities we work in who are gaining a first exposure to on-the-job training. Your team will gain a unique insight into below-the-line last-mile distribution, and youth empowerment, and be instrumental in distributing life-changing products in slum communities. WHAT WILL YOUR TEAM GET OUT OF I T? Livelyhoods is a not-for-profit social enterprise that creates livelihoods for unemployed youth and women in 12 different slum communities across the country. This youthful sales network in turn brings affordable and sustainable products to their communities, providing a valuable service whilst earning an income and providing for their families. Each product sold benefits an Livelyhoods youth, allowing them to earn a sustainable income for the first time in their lives and gain valuable entrepreneurship skills. During the Street Smart Challenge, your team will be a part of their apprenticeship coaching and mentoring a LivelyHoods sales agent to build their skills and enhance their future employability. HOW WILL YOUR TEAM MAKE AN I MPACT? HOW WILL YOUR COMPANY GET STREET SMART AND SALES SMART? Mixed groups of between three and four will take part in an ‘Apprentice’ style sales and marketing challenge. The ultimate aim is to reach as many people as possible with environmentally-friendly and sustainable products that save them money, for example clean cookstoves. Each pitch made to a prospect, and each product sold, will earn teams points, and the team with the most points at the end of the day will be recognised in the closing prize- giving session.
