HACKS: No desk? A chair (pillows for your back?) and a side table can be a starting point. Try a sturdy cupboard shelf in combo with books as a “lap-jack”—to elevate your monitor. A storage boxes gets dual credit for organization and providing a little lift for your laptop. A lightweight tray or cookie rack can double as a “lap keyboard tray” keeping forearms between 90-132 and pressure off the thighs. Tech-tip: perforated or slotted keeps equipment cool.
