bow ties, we will have your little man covered for any special occasion or event all in beautiful

breathable cotton. Dressy boys clothing is store now with more on the way!

Last year we introduced the brands Bebe and Fox & Finch to Little Lamb to the delight of many

customers. After the huge success the brands saw, we made sure we have expanded both the

range of styles and sizes (now going up to size 7 from Fox & Finch).

With new collections in store now, we will continue to have regular deliveries of summer

clothing from these brands continuing until October.

After nearly selling out of our small range of previous season Alex &

Ant in a week, there has been a lot of anticipation for this new

collection. This very special collection (girls only sizes 000-7 years)

uses delicious colours and amazing fabrics that are so soft you’ll

want to rub your face on them! I can’t wait to create a very special

new window display just for this new collection!

an icon in the fashion

industry, has launched

Alex & Ant’s new collection.

Megan Hess is arguably fashions most renown and sought after illustrators, illustrating for the

likes of Gucci. Chanel and other world renowned brands. Alex and Ant’s designer and owner was

overwhelmed with excitement when she told me Megan Hess would also be illustrating for them!

The wait and secrecy of the poster is now over as the Alex and Ant 2014 summer collection is

launched... With the result being just gorgeous!

New baby boys clothing has just arrived from plum with more of

their traditionally sweet and classically smart baby range (0000-2) to

continue to be delivered through to October. Here are a few of our

favourites to come.

Arriving in September will be our first full

range of sleepwear from Plum..

Their 100% cotton summer onesies and two piece pyjama sets in

sizes up to 7 years are fun, adorable and importantly,

comfortable. They are priced at $29.95-$34.95 which means you’ll

love them as much as the kids. We’re betting they’ll quickly become

staples in many households!

Our biggest swimwear range to date is expected to arrive

late August. The range will include bikinis, one piece bathers, trunk bottoms and long

and short sleeved rash vests in sizes 000-7 years. Each style will come in a variety of different

prints, all made from cancer council approved UPF 50+ fabric. Stay updated for their arrival!

We asked Shane Pepper, the Owner of Plum a few

questions about his business.

How did you get into the children's clothing market?

I was born into the Childrenswear industry literally. I’m

3rd generation owner of Plum (ST) of a business that has

been at the top of the Australian market for over 50

years.

What inspires you when designing?

We (the design team) search the globe physically and

online for the best ideas and inspiration to pull together

our collections.

What do you love about this industry?

Its always changing and keeps you on top of your game.

What's important to you when choosing fabrics or de-

signs?

Quality / Fashion forward / easy care.

What makes Plum special?

Plum is well know for its vibrant prints and across our

ranges including babywear, swim, sleepbags (not

stocked by Little Lamb) and PJs.

PLUM is an Australian family owned

business established in 1965 by Bob

and Nell Pepper, run for many years by

Rob Pepper, and is today owned and

managed by Bob’s grandson Shane

Pepper and his wife Eugenie.

With their 2 young children, Tommy

and Chloe, they fully understand the

needs of today's parents.

PLUM has its own in-house design team

with 3 designers with over 15 years’

experience each in the fashion

business, designing prints, graphics,

textiles, babywear and womenswear

for major international brands, as well

as being mums to 6 children between

them.

Meet the beautiful Chrystal Henry...

How and why did you get into the children's clothing market?

I used to be in the bridal and formalwear market and when I was pregnant with my first child I

decided to start making baby clothing and took it to the local markets and also was lucky

enough to get into a few “actual” stores including Little Lamb! Once the demand got too high, I

had to look at expanding the brand.

What do you love about designing and what inspires you?

I love that I can design my vision. I see something in my head and start playing around with

colours and prints and it all goes from there. I try to make my designs a little different from the

rest but still mainstream enough for most people to like it. My friends are my biggest inspira-

tion, they are always sending me messages of things they love and what they would like to see

in the next Love Henry range.

What is your favourite look/collection this summer?

I love the Elsie Collection (My own “Elsie Mae” was a newborn when I designed this range

actually!) I love the vintage prints and soft colours, perfect for beautiful little babies.

The Audrey Range has been our best seller and is really cute also. Oh and you really can’t go

past the 2 NEW boys suspender style playsuits! (see previews next page)

What do you love about this industry?

I love hearing mums say how much they love Love Henry and seeing little babies and kids

wearing it. The feeling is really very uplifting and makes the hard work worth it. Also the stores

that stock Love Henry are like friends to us and we love having a business relationship like

that. Makes working easy.

What's important to you when choosing fabrics or designs?

We are cotton growers in QLD so everything that I design is made from cotton. I love that I get

to see the cotton seed planted into the ground, the first green leaf appear from the soil, the first

white soft cotton emerging from the boll, the cotton being harvested in our very own cotton

pickers, then shipped off to be made into beautiful soft cotton fabrics to be used all over the

world and maybe in my very own Love Henry designs.

What makes your brand special?

Every Love Henry product was designed in an

environment where the word “Mum” is used

about 50 times a day, yes, I am a WAHM! My

daughters give me feedback on my designs and

tell me their favourites. They have actually

designed a few pieces themselves which they

feel extremely proud of when the samples are

made! (My eldest daughter is only 6!) Love Henry

is special for this reason.

Can you give us a little summary of you and

your business?

I am a regular Mum with regular problems, I am

just lucky enough to be doing something that I

love surrounded by the people I love. I am thank-

ful for the support of my family, friends, stockists

and the beautiful customers that love Love Henry.

Peapod Nappies

These award winning modern cloth

nappies ($19.95 each) are easy to

use, are fully adjustable and are

available in a variety of lovely colours

and cute prints.

The microfiber lining is soft on babies

bottom and doesn’t hold moisture to

stay dry against their skin. Wetness is

soaked into the bamboo absorbers

which will provide up to 4 hours

protection. Bamboo is also naturally

antibacterial and holds well under

compression (unlike synthetic fibres,

moisture won't squeeze out when

baby sits down). The outer layer has

a high quality PUL coating is

breathable while providing a soft,

waterproof barrier preventing leaks.

The adjustable fasteners, contoured

back elastic and shaped leg casing

have all been designed to create a

snug, trim fit meaning not only do Pea

Pods look stylish, they allow your

baby to wear normal sized clothing

over the top without being bulky and

uncomfortable. The leg elastic is fully

adjustable so you can get a perfect fit

from 4kg right up to 16kg in the one

sized nappy.

Peapod Bamboo Flushable Nappy Liners

Our peapod bamboo flushable nappy liners ($9.95 for a roll of 100) make

changing cloth nappies a breeze! They are soft against baby’s bottom,

wetness goes through and holds the solids so you can just take to the toilet

and flush! They can be used with any brand of cloth nappy and are also

popular to be used as wipes!

To make your own wipes mix 2 cups of hot water, 1 tbs coconut oil and 1

tbs of baby wash then submerge a roll of liners to soak up the liquid.

An empty wipes container fits the roll perfectly and keeps them moist.

Pea Pods are easy to wash and don't require soaking. The materials are stain resistant and a

normal machine wash will provide a thorough clean. Because the absorbent insert can be

removed, they are also very quick to dry.

Night Boosters ($4.95) are also

available to increase absorbance, and

when used with a regular absorber

provides up to 12 hours protection

overnight.

Welcoming.... We are delighted to introduce La Toya’s beautiful

new baby Allexa (wrapped of course in

Aden+Anais!).

Both mum and baby are doing really well and

we’ve enjoyed lots of beautiful cuddles in store.

Allexa is the third Little Lamb from our team to be

welcomed in the last 2 years (both girls from my

staff members!)!

What a lovely thing to be able to watch two staff

member’s bellies blossom and then welcome these

bundles of joy.

I wish La Toya and her family all the best and will

miss her working at the shop everyday!

tubes to be fed through them.

Made from soft organic cotton, there

are no inside seams and they tie with a

ribbon instead of a stud on the inside,
