What Is It? / What Does It Do?

TVS Diode Arrays (SPA® Diodes), commonly called Diode Arrays, are a family of discrete diodes and diode arrays designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment against destructive electrostatic discharges (ESD) and lightning-induced surge currents.

Why use this product?

• Plastic packaged solutions, first on the market, which prevents solder shorts between the terminals

• Plastic package protects the device from incidental shock• Plastic package provides a moisture barrier, preventing

electrical shorts across the package• Unidirectional, protects the I/IO and the power ports

better, as these interfaces are unipolar
