Surrendered at Inverness on 16 April 1746 and signed his parole on 17 April 1746.Imprisoned Marshalsea, London. Pardoned on condition of permanent banishment. Discharged. From Mrs Leith’saccount of him he could barely speak English. He was sent to London in June 1746 but was treated as a Frenchprisoner of war. The Regiment of Royal Scots in the French Service was raised at the expense of the attainedDrummond family.

Prisoners of the ‘45.Surrendered at Inverness on 16 April 1746 and signed his parole on 17 April 1746. Put on board the ‘Alexander &James’ bound for London where he was imprisoned at Marshalsea. Pardoned on condition of permanent banishment.
