Success and achievements recognized through numerous awards - appointed national “Branch Manager of the Year” -- 1st place (once) and 3rd place (twice); received 8 national awards recognizing achievements for top 25%

Operated primary branch in Plano (direct oversight) which consistently ranked in the top 5% of branches on a national basis with more than $22 million in annual revenue (single branch) and achieving 1.3% indirect labor to revenue (300-500% more efficient than other local area branches); total annual revenue accountability ranged
up to $40 million.
Selected by Regional VP to open and manage Volt's first Accounting and Finance branch in the Dallas area which focused on direct hire of Accounting Professionals; opened the branch from "ground up" - identified real estate/office location, selected furnishings/equipment, hired and trained staff, developed marketing plans and
sales strategies; this was accomplished while maintaining direct management of the Plano office simultaneously.
Managed P&L for multiple staffing branch sites in N. Dallas metro area; utilized financial analytical skills to ensure that revenue, gross margins and expense containment exceeded financial goals.
Directed overall management functions – recruited, hired, trained and developed all branch staff members – Sales, Recruiting and Operation; conducted regular meetings to set expectations/goals, design strategies and
review performance.
Steered growth lines for Recruiters and Sales staff as well as driving MBO’s (Managed Business Objectives) and activities; existing growth lines exceeded expectations by significant amounts; successfully introduced and developed numerous entry-level Recruiters into our industry resulting in career growth and success including
national recognition as a Star Performer and promotion into management roles.
Established mutually beneficial business partnerships; examined and negotiated terms of new client agreements/contracts; reduced Volt’s contractual liability while supporting our clients’ requirements; negotiated rates and mark-ups demonstrating value adds; inspected work sites to evaluate safety & risk

Landed many multi-million dollar accounts with most recent win being a newly opened call center in the U.S.; functioned as an Account Manager for this extremely demanding account requiring a great deal of infrastructure resulting in $2.6 million annual revenue within the first year and plans to grow to $10 million plus within the following year.
Examined client service offerings; carried out responsibility for meeting Standard Level Agreements; communicated with clients on a regular basis to review KPI’s and compliance to contractual obligations; addressed performance issues and developed strategies for improvement; created & maintained client reporting; prepared and conducted regular formal business reviews.
Supported and retained several of Volt’s largest accounts with great success; most of those programs ran 12+ years to current with the Plano branch being the primary driver of these accounts; industry verticals included
manufacturing, call center, administrative/accounting/professional.
Executed vendor agreements, negotiated rates pertaining to facility services such as building improvements,
equipment repair/maintenance, plumbing, electrical, security and background screenings.
Oversight and escalation point for In-House and Field Employee relations to include Worker’s Comp (Injury) claims, Harassment/Discrimination claims, Unemployment claims/hearings, Timekeeping tools/issues,
Payroll/Benefit concerns.
TDY Staffing, Richardson, Texas 1995-1999

Worked directly with the owner as primary Manager - built company from one location/two employees to six locations in Texas within two years; Frito Lay awarded TDY as "Minority Supplier of the Year” within two years of
involvement with the company.
Overall management and development responsibilities for branches throughout Texas including Richardson,
Dallas, Arlington, San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi.
Assisted owner in the identification of branch sites (real estate), service & supply vendors, and facility set -up for the opening of new branches; sourced, recruited and identified staff members to meet the demand of a
progressively growing company in a fast paced industry.
Responsible for increasing sales through effective development of sales staff in addition to maintaining a personal book of business; established the overall sales approach/processes and wrote the sales training manual for this company; trained and directed Recruiting staff for multiple locations with oversight of the Operational
staff.
After departing the company, the business was sold for a sizable profit enabling the owner to retire.
