customers.

We supply wholesale fibre optic, satellite and international carrier services.

We also provide technology solutions, cloud services and payment platforms for multi-national corporations and African

businesses.

Who are Liquid Telecom

We are a communications service and solutions provider, with network infrastructure spanning Eastern, Central and Southern Africa.

We have built an independent fibre network, distributing fibre connectivity across some nine countries. As well as host IT services

from three operational data centres found in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Nairobi.

This is in addition, providing cloud-based services, such as Microsoft Office365.

Liquid Telecom; Method/Consideration

Regional Sales & Marketing initiate market research for proposed service area.

Market research analysis provided to Group Commercial Director for review and approval.

Field survey conducted for all premises within the service area, conducted alongside market research activities.

Survey data on premises gathered and Imported into Network Inventory System.

Receipt of Commercial approval.

Project Code requested and approved code issued.

Proceed with surveyed premises building polygon outlining in Network Inventory System.

Service Area “Premises” count to be issued to the Infrastructure Planning Manager.

Calculate costs for submission into the projected budget, based on rate per/m from Municipality (If applicable).

Carry out Stage 1: Civil Infrastructure design; Trench/Ducts/Chambers/Poles/Fittings and input into Network Inventory System.

Complete Stage 1: Planning pack and B.O.Q and submit for Group approval, on receipt issue to the local Implementation PMO.

Carry out Stage 2: Fibre cabling design; Optical cables/Enclosures/Splicing/Termination and input into Network Inventory System.

Produce fibre schematic; Cable blowing and splicing/ODF patching schedules.

Complete Stage 2: Planning Pack and B.O.Q this will be in addition to the existing stage 1 civils infrastructure.

Submit for Group approval. On receipt issue to the local Implementation PMO.

During the Implementation process, the planning team will provide support to the Implementation team in order to capture and agree

any changes to the design.

Any major changes should be analysed and updated into the Network Inventory system.

Local Implementation PMO to provide planning with a completed As-built, on completion of build.

QA representative to audit the network and ensure that As-built documentation is a true representation of actual design and provide

their sign off.
