Renowned for their expertise in the field of magnetic effect examination, Sheffield University tested The Magnatech System for Research projects from April – August 2013.

Their results recorded:- • A flame temperature increase • An 11% improvement in thermal efficiency of the boiler • A reduction in fuel to create hotter water temperature • A reduction in NOx gasses of 10%

The Magnatech System

The Magnatech System works on almost all Oil, Gas and LPG fired boilers and burners and is fitted with no down time or interruption to service. Using 14 years of development with this technology, the Magnatech System is fitted to the outside of the fuel pipes to provide maximum energy saving, depending on:

• The output of the boiler • The pipe size and material • The fuel type

How does The Magnatech™ System and Fuel Conditioning work?


Fuel Conditioning is based on a scientific principle. Manufactured Neodymium magnets, made with rare earth material are placed in a particular sequence and polarity on fuel feed pipes, guiding particle motion.

Conventional fuel contains molecules that attract to each other in large clusters known as associations; being charged positively and negatively at random. As fuel travels along the fuel line it passes through the powerful Magnatech magnetic field. Hydrocarbon molecules in the fuel then become positively charged making them repel each other.

This breaks the hydrocarbon clusters wide open, allowing the oxygen molecules greater access to them. The ‘conditioned’ fuel carries more energy and mixes more readily with the air resulting is a more complete combustion.

How does The Magnatech™ System and Fuel Conditioning work?

This whole process facilitates a rise in flame temperature of up to 120°C + (all well within the tolerance of the boiler). The stability of the Magnatech System ensure that the boiler begins to operate more efficiently, under different configurations and flow rates.

• The water in the boiler reaches target temperature sooner • Less fuel is burnt reaching the target temperature • The burner’s “burning time” is reduced • The heat exchange plate increases in temperature so the circulating water is hotter • Fewer emissions for the same volume of fuel consumed and a reduction in carbon footprint
