SENIORS – New Scholarships

• Miss River Raisin Festival Scholarship Pageant Applications are now available

• The Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) Scholarship Competition – Must have a parent who is employed at a business that is a member of the MRA.

Sigmund Foundation Scholarship

• Jackson or Lenawee County Resident• Cummulative GPA of 2.5 or greater• Proof of Financial Need• Acceptance into accredited college or

university for Fall 2011• Completion of the FAFSA form• Scholarship amounts up to $5000!• Applications available in the CCC• Due by April 15th

Owens Community College Trustee’s Academic Scholarship

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Interest in attending Owens Community College at full-time status

• Typed essay (3 pages or less) outlining educational goals

• Stop by the CCC today if interested

• Nomination must be received by March 11th

Lenawee County Education Foundation Scholarships

• In 2010 the LCEF awarded $268,316 through 282 separate student scholarships

• Complete listing is available online at www.lenaweecef.org/what-we-do/scholarships

• Printed list is also available in the CCC• All applications are available online• Remember – these are only for Lenawee county

students, so your odds of winning these are much higher – Apply for as mnay as you can!

• Deadline to apply for most of these scholarships is Friday - March 11th
