Teacher Planning and Management
The project is a collaborative group work and is facilitated by innovative teachers from 5 countries in Africa namely Mauritius, South Africa, Nigeria, Senegal and Mozambique (G5).
Background & Planning:
The G5 Pan African Innovative teachers, agreed to facilitate the project with the students in the different countries driving the project with their ideas and skills.
A walk in time through the origin and culture of Mauritius was the motivating factor for this project.
Our students can see their own country through time culturally, historically and the way people lived (with particular emphasis on issues that emerged in Mauritius such as slavery indentured labour, the sugar cane industry and extinctions) ; and compare with those of others in the G5.
