Mark DresslerDirector

Recently selected as LBUSD's Teacher of the Year, Mark Dressler has become well known in Laguna Beach for his direction of the TMS and LBHS drama programs. Mr. Dressler brings an unusual passion to all his work that is quite ap-parent to his students, many of whom are amazed at his energy and devotion. Of all his accomplishments, he is most proud of the community support that enabled the building

of a state-of-the-art black box theatre at Thurston. Mark has directed and produced scores of excellent classical, contemporary and musical theatre pieces, too numerous to list here, over the past 25 years. As a teacher who believes in teenagers’ abilities, he keeps standards and ex-pectations high; and his students consistently astound audiences with performing excellence! Mark remains grateful to our unusually artistic community, which continues to support the Performing Arts in our lo-cal public schools.
