Lindsey Harper and RandyBoudreaux April 10, 2015 | Photography by Louis Lindsey and Randy met and began dating in high school. As time passed and Randy was ready to propose, he decided to recreate their first date. It would be a romantic one. The two had pizza, a tour of the New Orleans Museum of Art and then a walk in the Sculpture Garden. "He proposed to me in front of the "LOVE" sculpture," says Lindsey. Of course, Lindsey said "Yes." Lindsey and Randy were married at St. Francis Xavier Church and Lindsey walked down the aisle to the traditional, "Here Comes the Bride" march. On her bouquet, Lindsey attached pictures of her beloved, Randy, and borrowed pieces of her mother's wedding dress to tie her bouquet together. The Reception followed at The Balcony Ballroom. The newlyweds danced their first dance to "When A Man Loves A Woman" by Journey. The couple wanted a traditional New Orleans wedding, which was achieved throughout their night, including a second line parade, money dance, and photos taken in the French Quarter. Lindsey says, "It was a magical whirlwind! We loved every moment of our wedding day." NEW ORLEANS WEDDINGS MAGAZINE | FALL 2015
