LINCOLN COUNTRY CLASSIC DAIRY GOAT SHOW Located at Daviess County Fairgrounds-Hwy 57-Elnora IN 47529 Junior and Senior Doe Show *** June 20, 2015 Show Chairman: Jerry Lubbehusen 812-636-7611 Judge: Matt Casselman This show is sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and their rules shall govern. 1. The following breeds will be sanctioned by the ADGA: Saanen, Alpine, Recorded Grade, Nubian, Oberhasli, Nigerian Dwarf, LaMancha, and Toggenburg. The order of the show is subject to change. 2. Entry fee will be $4.00/animal postmark before June 13, 2015**Entries received after June 13, 2015 will be $6.00/animal. Send entries to: Raya Morris-8622 N 250 E-Plainville, IN 47568 3. The base date for computing the age of an animal is June 20, 2015.. 4. The original registration certificate is required for a doe six months of age or older. The original registration certificate of duplicate application stamped by ADGA office is required for a doe under six months of age and this must be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show. No copies of the registration certificate or the stamped duplicate application, telegrams or phone calls will be accepted in view of the original certificate. 5. Pens will be provided by the Daviess County Fair. 6. The exhibitors will need to provide their own bedding. 7. Animals must be checked in and in place by 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015. Release will be immediately following the show. Pens will be available after 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015. The Livestock Committee would appreciate help cleaning up bedding in pens after the show. 8. No horned animals allowed. 9. There will be no pre-show milk out. 10. All out of state animals must have a current health certificate. 11. Any animals showing signs of infectious disease or ill health will be barred from the barns by the authority of the State Vet or the Daviess County Livestock Committee. 12. The Daviess County Fair will not be responsible for animals, personal property or accidents. 14. Any fans used must be finger guard protected. 15. No alcoholic beverages allowed on the property 16. Showmanship will begin promptly at 8:30am Eastern, Saturday, June 20, 2015. Followed by the Senior and Junior Doe Shows. 17. Milk will be deposited in a designated tank. 18. The Junior and Senior shows are separately sanctioned. 19. Premise ID’s are required. 20. Premiums will be $15 to each Champion Breed winner and $10 to each Reserve Champion Breed winner.
