April 2019 1 Linc PTT software update available for Sonim XP8 and Android OTT A new software update is available for all Linc PTT applications. It is important to update the applications as soon as possible to take advantage of the improvements. You should be connected to LTE service or Wi-Fi before downloading the updates. You will not need to re-register with the Linc PTT app following these updates. You must grant app permissions and agree to Linc PTT Terms of Use before the updated Linc PTT connects with your wireless network, but no additional input is required by you. If your phone delivers an error message while updating, for example, “Linc PTT Cockpit can’t be updated. Try again, and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting.
