Lime Density Display Quick Set Up Notes for PPA

Calibration with Thermal Fisher Densometer:

In-line Densometer cannot be rigged in or Blender cannot have fluid in Densometer.

On lime Display Calibration Screen with no water in Densometer touch empty pipe button on Screen. Air voltage should read around 9.6 volts.

Fill detector to top with water and Press V water button on screen. Voltage should be around five volts on In-line and for blender denso around 2.5 volts on an eight inch. It really depends on what jumpers are connected on FSU in Densometer.

Calibration is finished.

Note: Can use real time simulation to change V empty and V water readings.

On front screen use Calculated Density not measured. Measured is good if water is showing 8.33 densities. Calculated will graph better than measured.

Percent Adjust on Cal Screen:

Percent adjust should be Zero

Average 3-5

Scales on Cal Screen:

Kg/m3 min 0 - Max 2650

PPA min 0 - Max 22.1

SGU min .8 – Max 2.8

KGA min 0 – Max 2650

LBS/GAL min 0 – Max 22.1

PPA Poly Screen: Touch on Top right corner of Lime Display.

PPA POLY

Value % out

2.207 9.987

4.420 20.000

6.627 29.987

8.840 40.000

11.047 49.987

13.260 60.000

15.467 69.987

17.680 80.000

19.887 89.987

22.100 100.00

On Accufrac computer or DAC software same screen as PPA Poly on right is STEP button. Step through 1 thru 10 and Accufrac if scaled right should show PPA for each step.

Make sure Analog One Output is used for PPA on front screen . The cable from densometer should be connected in Analog one in back of Line display.

Front Screen:

0.0 PPA

PPA – Analog Output one

SGU- Analog Output two

LBS/Gallon- US English Units (8.33 for Water)

How to set up IN-LINE Densometer in Accufrac:

Select Analog One on Accufrac computer

Select Scale Min-0 and Max to 22.1 using PPA

On Calibration Screen on Lime display Simulate 4ma and Set MIN DAC Counts on Accufrac. Turn off simulation.

Simulate 20ma on Lime display and Set Max DAC counts on Accufrac computer. Turn off simulation.

Now simulate 12 ma on Lime display and Accufrac density should display 11.05 PPA. Turn off Simulation.

Accufrac set up finished.

Locked Out from Calibration Screen On Lime Display:

If locked out from Cal Screen Touch on bottom left corner twice on display. Touch by lime Instruments version white letters. May take a few attempts.
