Dear Hood Parents, It is hard to believe that Field Day and Grade K and Grade 5 ceremonies are here along with the last days of school for our Grades 1 – 4 students. Below are the IMPORTANT REMINDERS for both K and Grade 5 ceremonies. Our last day of school for students in Grades 1 – 4 will be Tuesday, June 26th at 11:15. Students will not have lunch on their last day. Report cards will be given out on Tuesday for students in Grades 1 – 4. If you are looking for something to do over the summer, the Lynn Public Library will be a fun event where your children may borrow books for their summer reading. We are looking for our students to make a reading goal so that when they return to school in the fall, their reading levels will have increased. Our Hood students know that they can go on an adventure when they read. On September 5th, we will meet you in the back schoolyard at 8:15. Students can look for their grade level and name to identify their teacher. We would like to thank our parents for a great school year. We wish all our Hood families a safe and fun summer. SUMMER READING A big thank you to our Hood PTO and to our parent volunteers for putting together the plans for a successful FIELD DAY. The last day of school for grades 1-4 will be on Tuesday, June 26th. Students will be dismissed at 11:15am. Report cards will also go home on Tuesday, June 26th. Please keep them in a safe place for sports, camp etc. ——————————————- Kindergarten screening for incoming Kindergarteners will be on Thursday, June 21, Friday, June 22 and Monday, June 25 – by appointment only. Kindergarten Moving On Ceremony will be on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 9:00 am in the school auditorium. This will be the last day of school for Kindergarten. All students will be escorted by their teachers to their classrooms after the ceremony. Parents will pick their children up outside the portable as they do each day to dismiss their child. 5th grade Graduation will be on Monday, June 25th at 9:00am in the school auditorium. This will be the last day of school for 5th graders. After the graduation, weather permitting all students will be escorted by teachers to the courtyard. Parents will join their children in the courtyard. In case of rain, all students will be escorted by teachers to their 5th grade classrooms to gather their belongings. Parents will be dismissed outside the front door. Students will then be dismissed to their parents outside.

It is hard to believe that Field Day and Grade K and Grade 5 ceremonies are here along with the last days of school for our Grades 1 – 4 students. Queridos padres de Hood,
Es difícil de creer que las ceremonias de Field Day y Grade K y Grade 5 estén aquí junto con los últimos días de clases para nuestros estudiantes de Grados 1-4. A continuación se encuentran los RECORDATORIOS IMPORTANTES para las ceremonias K y 5. Nuestro último día de clases para los estudiantes en los grados 1 - 4 será el martes 26 de junio a las 11:15. Los estudiantes no almorzarán en su último día. Las boletas de calificaciones
se entregarán el martes para los estudiantes en los grados 1 - 4.
Si está buscando algo que hacer durante el verano, la Biblioteca Pública de Lynn será un evento divertido donde sus hijos pueden tomar prestados libros para su lectura de verano. Estamos buscando que nuestros estudiantes hagan una meta de lectura para que cuando regresen a la escuela en el otoño, sus niveles de lectura hayan aumentado. Nuestros alumnos de Hood saben que pueden aventurarse cuando leen.
El 5 de septiembre, nos encontraremos en el patio trasero de la escuela a las 8:15. Los estudiantes pueden buscar su nivel de grado y nombre para identificar a su maestro. Los estudiantes salen a las 11:15 am. Los reportes de calificaciones también irán a casa el

entrantes será el jueves 21 de junio, Viernes 22 junio y lunes 25 junio

La ceremonia de Kinder será el jueves 21 de junio de 2018 a las 9:00 am en el auditorio de la escuela. Esta será el ultimo día de escuela para los es-tudiantes de Kinder. Todos los estudiantes serán escoltados por sus maestras a sus aulas después de la ceremonia. Los padres recogerán a sus hijos fuera del portátil como lo hacen todos los días para despedir a sus hijos.
Graduación de 5to grado será el lunes, 25 de junio a las 9:00 am en el auditorio de la escuela. Este será el último día de escuela para los estudiantes de 5to grado. Después de la graduación, (si el tiempo lo permite), todos los estudiantes serán escoltados por los maes-tros al patio. Los padres se unirán a sus hijos en el patio. En caso de lluvia, todos los estu-diantes serán escoltados por maestros a sus aulas de 5to grado para recolectar sus pertenencias. Los padres saldrán por la puerta principal. Los estudiantes serán despachados a sus padres afuera.
