Couplers (also called aligners) are the most appropriate and effective devices for quickly aligning two components of the pipe before welding. The most common type of lightweight couplers with manual closure, the first version of lightweight couplers, is the one with cross-arched bars that allow a 90° circumferential welding without removing the coupler. Light Couplers with Manual Closing are available in sizes ranging from 4’’ to 16’’: They are easy to use; They are not removed during welding; They comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC and of the 2014/30 / EU directive; 100% weldability.
