Lighting 0 At our location that we have chosen (Black Bridge) there is

enough natural lighting from the sun to film our opening . The good thing about this is that it will help our opening to look realistic and create a feeling of normality amongst our audience. In some of our shots such as our extreme close up we will need to make sure that there is enough light to show our character’s emotions as this is key, we may have some artificial lighting on hand just incase.

0 We will be filming outside so we will be using the sun’s natural lighting. Because of the extreme close up’s we will have some white paper on hand so we can reflect the sun’s rays on to our character. This technique will also make the lighting seem realistic.

0 We may need some artificial lighting just incase the above technique is unsuccessful.

Sound

0 We will be filming outside so there may be sounds of birds, trees rustling and we are also filming on a bridge so the camera may pick up on the river below. There may also be sounds of cars and maybe airplanes that the camera may pick up.

0 The sounds such as birds, trees and the river etc. are natural sounds as they are all caused by the environment. Sounds like cars and airplanes are man made.

0 These shouldn’t effect our shoot because we plan to have a music track over the top of our opening. This music will help to bring about the sense of unease in our opening of a psychological thriller.

Health + Safety0 There are no power lines etc. near our location, this is a positive as it

reduces the risk of electrocution but also a negative as there is nowhere to plug our camera’s in.

0 There maybe a number of trip hazards such as tree branches or stones. To make this safe we will need to remove them if this is possible.

0 As we are filming in the natural environment a fire could occur, however it is unlikely that one will.

0 There will be no dangerous machinery used in our filming, or any that could harm us whilst we are.

0 There is always a risk of street crime when you are filming in public, however we will be filming in an area that has little public usage and there will be four of us.

0 We do not need permission to film in this place and we have contacted the police and council informing them of our filming.
