RENTAL TERMS& CONDITIONS

1. Definition of Terms: 1.1 “Company” means Lighthouse Film Service Co Ltd. 1.2 “Customer” means the hiring party, employees, representatives, subcontracted parties, and appointees. 1.3 “Equipment” means all equipment and / or any part of equipment which the customer rent from the company. 2. Equipment rental charges. 2.1 Equipment will be charged per day (24 hour period). Rental starts when equipment leaves the company, and ends when the equipment is returned to the company. Where equipment is rented, but not used. full charges will still be incurred. 2.2 Generators are not charged as above. They are charged at rate per 12-hour shift. After 12 hours rental, they will be charged at an hourly rate. Gasoline will be charged at an hourly rate, varying dependent on the type of generator. 2.3 Transportation fee for equipment. 2.3.1 Where equipment must be transported outside Bangkok, 50% of rental fees will be charged per travel day. 2.3.2 Where equipment has been in use outside Bangkok, and must be transported back th Bangkok, no transportation or travel fee will be charged for one day. N.B. Regarding equipment: a travel day is a day where no actual shooting takes place which in any way uses the rented equipment. 2.4 Where a booking is canceled more than 24 hours before the start of the booking period,no rental charge will be incurred. Where a booking is canceled within 24 hours of the start of the booking period, 50% of the rental charge will

be incurred.




3. Crew charges 3.1 A standard working day for crew is twelve houre. All fees are based on this. Within Bangkok, the working day for crew starts from the call time on shooting location. When shooting outside Bangkok city limits, the working day for crew starts from the time fo departure from Lighthouse company base. After twelve working hours, overtime charges will be incurred.. Should the working day exceed 24, overtime charges will be incurred at double the normal rate. 3.2 Within Bangkok city limits, the working hours will be calculated up until the the time fo wrap at the shooting location. 3.3 When shooting outside Bangkok, the working hours will be calculated up until the time that the crew returns to the Lighthouse company base. 3.4 Travel days for shooting outside Bangkok: Travel days are considered to be days during which crew members are being transported to location, but are not required to shoot, prep, pre-light, rig, or work in any capacity. Where travel time in total exceeds six hours, travel days are considered full working days for crew, and are charged accordingly. Where travel time in total does not exceed six hours,travel days will be charged at half the rate for a working day. If any shooting or prep takes place on a travel day, that day will be charged as a normal working day , and travel time will be included as part of the working day. 3.5 On a public holiday, all crew and overtime charges will be doubled.

3.6 On Labour Day (May 1 st), all crew and overtime charges will be trebled.




4. Equipment liability 4.1 The Customer will be responsible for all loss of or damage to equipment from the time that the equipment leaves the company, until its return. 4.2 If the equipment is being used in any environment or manner that exposes it to risk, e.g. shooting explosions, stunts, car crashes, or filming in proximity to water, salt, dust, sand etc., the costomer must inform the company at the time to booking. Appropriate proof of insurance will be required. Terms of insurance must be approved by the company. 4.3 Should damage or loss occur, the company shall hold the customer responsible, and will charge to the customer full repair or replacement costs as necessary, and shall be entitled to make a charge for lost rental fees. If the customer has insurance coverage, customer must ensure that the losses are fully covered, and must accept responsibility for any excess charges, administation fees or shortfall.
