PROFILE
Different light solutions but just a single way of being a company:
this new brand of lighting, based in the Treviso area, offers “made in Italy” products
for the contract furnishing sector in particular.
Its products are successfully innovative, elegant and functional.
With an average age of just over 30 years old,
the work team has already gained longstanding experience in the lighting sector.
The company project of LIGHT4, however, is based on a desire to open up new market horizons.
Its sales set-up is adaptable and operates on a global scale.
Company organization is streamlined and efficient, highly geared to custom-made products,
while end results always reveal high quality standards.
But LIGHT4 is much more:
its products are designed and made as a true message:
light is knowledge, illumination is meaning.
A new dynamic company: LIGHT4
ML, Vintage,
Façon de Venise and Itama
are the different brands
that LIGHT4 offers the market.
Each one of these brands expresses
the accurate stylistic choices that provide
character and appeal to the design of the luminaires that LIGHT4 creates.
The initial element is always only one, light, which is expressed in many different ways:
colour effects, furnishing solutions and time-honoured styles.
New products offered by each different brand are always functional, reliable and original.
With each shape and each technical solution, LIGHT4 always reveals its creativity.
Our starting point is light, yet there are no limits to its destination:
focusing straight on the future, avoiding reality for a fleeting second, or, more simply,
enhancing your interior with simple functional elements, perhaps without rejecting exemplary classic shapes.
In each case, they are “sensible solutions” that do not require explanations.
Light for furnishing, observing and playing ...
LIGHT4 Srl was established in April 2007
and immediately becamea creative workshop.
The current brands were acquired one at a time,
each one with its stylistic identity
and clearly defined market sectors:
in chronological order,
ML, Vintage, Façon de Venise and Itama
have become part of the LIGHT4 project.
Even though the company is new,
with a young average age for its staff,
the work team boasts deep-rooted experience in the lighting sector,
in both planning and design, as well as in sales.
A further guarantee of quality comes
from the company’s source of production:
materials and assembly operations are strictly “made in Italy”
while its suppliers are mainly located in the nearby vicinity
of the company headquarters in Quinto di Treviso.
A high level of outsourcing is accompanied by a slimline,
adaptable organizational set-up for LIGHT4,
which is highly specialised in assembling end products.
Specific company choices enable LIGHT4 to highly focus on custom-made products,
on design and on the contract furnishing sector. The company’s ability to effectively adapt
to new frontiers in the lighting market is clearly evident, particularly in international markets.
LIGHT4 operates on a global scale: over the 60% of its turnover comes from the export,
from main EU countries, the US, Russia and the Middle East.
Professionalism and experience provide “made in Italy” design
ML is the new brand created from the legacy of the well-established brand Muranoluce,
confirming its development according to the concepts of modern style and design.
With its original versions and new lines, the ML2011 catalogue presented in September
focuses on innovative technical solutions.
New materials such as aluminium and diffusers in prismatic methacrylate
combine with new glass elements and fine details.
Surprising effects have been achieved with screen printing and sandblasting,
combining minimalist design and simple lines with highly prestigious decorative elements.
Some of the new features are the outcome of partnerships with various designers:
Drop and Fade have been created by Brian Rasmussen, Fiodor by Diego Chilò,
and Silhouette by Mauro Marzollo.
The products in the new ML catalogue are presented in industrial settings to reintroduce
a modern and versatile style.
An additional new feature is Mlampshades,
a mini brand entirely dedicated to a wide range of lampshades.
The range offers many versions:
42 different variations (including suspended/table/floor and wall lamps)
are all available in 10 different coloured fabrics. ML leads you to new scenarios,
where lighting means know-how.
As its name indicates,
this brand focuses on the past,
reintroducing and expressing it with timeless designs.
The structure of its suspended lamps, ceiling lamps
and wall lamps has followed a tradition of lighting,
which extends from Baroque-style lamps
to polychrome glass experimental solutions.
With their stylish lighting, Vintage brand products provide
an excellent combination of furnishings and decoration, luxury and functionality.
A touch of glamour enhances top-quality products,
with daring modern details to make the most classic shapes innovative.
The Vintage brand also expresses the highly versatile nature of LIGHT4,
offering solutions for the contract furnishing sector,
with custom-made lighting installations and services.
A new concept of luxury is communicated,
and thanks to a combination of classic lines, modern taste and innovative materials,
the product lines of this brand create highly attractive contrasting effects.
These special features enhance the most diverse interiors,
offer extra personality and place Vintage in a precise position:
providing not only lamps but also sensations.
The design path followed concentrates on increasingly daring lines,
or everlasting interaction between the past and future.
Traditional refinement provides prestigious contemporary luxury in all possible contexts.
Stylish furniture: “Interiors” is a new series from Vintage.
This brand, which expresses the fusion style of LIGHT4 at its best, extends its horizons.
In the recent catalogue, a new chapter is included alongside lighting,
dedicated to complementary furnishing items:
mirrors, tables, chairs and much more.
Everything has been created, thanks to a specific company strategy:
to offer not only simple objects but also a true “lifestyle”.
LIGHT4 products offer much more than material essence, where unmistakable fine craftsmanship prevails,
providing expression, communication and stylish ideas.
Thanks to the products in the “Interiors” range, Vintage confirms its position as an all-round brand,
extending its range of top-level products to include other sectors.
New complementary furnishing items are carefully selected and specifically
designed to convey the style of this brand: a blend of Baroque
and ultra-modern style is immediately noticeable.
Lathe-turned details, silver nitrate treatments for glass sheets, lacquers,
coatings and all production phases are characterised by genuine artisan passion and
“made in Italy” processes, making LIGHT4 creations even more luxurious.
Excellence, a touch of glamour and great personality, thanks to elegant classical lines
and an attractive modern look:
the Vintage style of LIGHT4 is ready to conquer all the most exclusive interiors.
Let it charm you!
INTERIORS
They surprise us, make us dream and arouse our interest:the lamps and solutions offered
by Façon de Venise are the essence of experimentation. This brand is dynamic,
offering innovative up-to-date luminaires. Creative design and materials
are not restricted by any rules. This is the “DNA” of the most striking
and original LIGHT4 brand: a combination
that always leaves you speechless, without exaggerating.
It is a matter of personality,
successfully making the best use of light
and its potential to express new aesthetic concepts.
This design provides free expression
and functionality for objects.
With this awareness,
the future ideas of Façon de Venise
are not mere theoretical speculation but adapt
to create each attractive furnishing element.
The lines of this brand
have already been chosen
for the interiors
of numerous fashionable
and original bars/restaurants.
The future of lighting starts here.
Itama is a young, Italian product design firm
that specializes in interior lighting fixtures
and works on in-house projects.
It was established in 2006
as a design-driven company
thanks to an artistic idea of Massimo Tonetto,
an architect who gained valuable experience working
with leading companies in the lighting sector and focusing on interior and industrial design.
Itama design stands out with its functionality and simple, elegant lines.
Warm lights and rigorous shapes turn surrounding space
into a spectacular scenario of colours and unforgettable emotions.
The distinct personality of Itama lamps offers a rich variety of visual sensations and creative solutions that
redefine the furnishing concept.
Itama currently manufactures all its products in Italy, fully focusing on Italian industrial design.
The first Light4 flagship store in Italy features urban style. It is a showroom, a retail outlet and much more:
for the design of the new flagship store opened on 1st September in downtown Milan,
our art director Brian Rasmussen was inspired by the “metropolitan city”.
Visitors can follow a path towards light, where at each stop they can discover the top products
of our four brands: ML, Vintage, Façon de Venise and Itama.
The 80-square-metre space at number 34 Via Carducci spreads over
a single floor,
with three large
window display areas.
Laura Corbo and Luca Allevi are the partners, along with Light4, of the new store:
their broad knowledge of design and technical lighting is ideal for
assisting customers in their choices, whether they are interior designers,
lighting engineers or home enthusiasts.
Having made its debut in the capital city of design,
Light4 aims to leave its mark!

Born 35 years ago, after the Art School takes a degree at the Politecnico of Milan. During the collaboration with the architectural studio “Studiosette” she tests the Borromeo Palace’s Icehouse, in Cesano Maderno: here Vera can express that simplicity and elegance which would mark her future works. Nowadays she mainly works to private projects, modelling the ambiences with lines and volumes in a real dimension and with classical materials used in a modern way. Her design comes until the coordination of every element, so that it can suite with all the rest.

a Cesano Maderno
The study of Vera, bright and overlooking the beautiful garden, is furnished with bespoke furniture made by the company Citterio of Sirone. On the left a work by Fiorenzo Barindelli, famous artist and Vera’s uncle. To the oak flooring (the same throughout the whole house) matches well the clothes hanger of the young brand Èlunapiena, based in Cesano Maderno
