Mrs. Conaway and I had the exciting opportunity to walk through the first floor ofthe new building last week (see the Executive Summary posted today)!! The firstfloor is fully framed and and is fully taking shape! Was so awesome to see all ofthe past two years of planning coming to fruition! The Dane County Sheriff’s Office ispartnering with Sun Prairie Schoolsand Sun Prairie Police/EMS and willbe hosting a free community stopthe bleed training on Monday March2nd from 6-730pm. Donation items are starting to come in from local businesses and families.There are a wide variety of items so far from great family experiences thissummer to sporting tickets to amazing handmade items. Thinking of donating an item, experience, service from you or your place ofwork? Please contact [email protected]. The more donations we have,the more money we can raise for our teachers and students! Thank you to the many families who donated items or cash to the 4K-8 thgrade themed classroom baskets for the auction! Announcing… this year’s special appeal is for items that are needed fornew classrooms and offices! The appeal will actually open before theauction and end at the night of the event. There will be a registry for itemssuch as magnetic white boards, shelving, refrigerators, and other thingsthat are on our need/wish lists.
