PRAYER OF ADORATION / LORD’S PRAYER

CONFESSION OF SIN

God of grace, mercy and justice: We confess that we have often failed to be an obedient church. Our lips are filled with excuses, but the truth is that we have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have rebelled against your love. We have not loved our neighbors and have refused to hear the cry of those most in need. Forgive us—we pray—so that we may serve you with joyful obedience. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
