Established in 2009 as a lift maintenance company, Arc Elevators

was formed by highly skilled people who have experience in the

sub-contracting industry for major lift companies.

DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

Having experience of the lift industry before ‘package lifts’ came along,

we know how well engineered and long lasting our lifts are and using

that ethos and experience, started to design our own lifts.

Not long after that decision, we were approached by Storefirst Ltd who

required some 2000 kgs goods passenger lifts for the storage market,

we have since installed multiple lifts for them at the following sites:

The first installation we undertook involved importing a package

lift to install into our own designed lift shaft, we found the lift to

be under engineered and of relatively poor quality.

All these projects, which

involved fabricating the

structural lift shaft along with

the lift car, were manufactured

within 3 miles of our workshop.

projects going forward. We have

now designed and installed the

We keep continuity with

suppliers by using the same

control panels and door

operators for modernisation

projects and ensure spare

parts are readily available in

our stores.

Arc Elevators are an extremely

driven and motivated company,

restoring, manufacturing and

ensuring well engineered, long

lasting products for our clients.

All our lift installations use the latest technology, including our own R&D

designed wireless GSM auto-diallers. Gearless machines are used on our

traction MRL lifts to ensure both ride quality levels and utility savings.

Britannia Premier Removals and Storage

approached Arc Elevators because they

were struggling to find a company that

would design a goods only lift around the

logistics of their business.

They required a lift that would move

furniture. So we designed a structure and

hydraulic lift with an internal floor space of

1500mm x 2900mm.

The car and structure were both designed

by our own design team and the fabrication

carried out by a local company.

This project was completed in 2014 and the

co-operative group linked to the company

has since placed multiple orders with us.

engineer staff are continuously

trained and updated on the

latest technical and legislative

developments, while all staff are

trained and actively encouraged

to perfect their relevant skills.

For most business owners, going green is a major

consideration when upgrading or replacing lift equipment.

We supply energy-saving, regenerative, variable-speed

drives that are environmentally friendly. Manufacturers have

recognised the need to address environmental concerns

and this has resulted in passenger and goods lifts that are

more energy efficient.

There are a variety of energy-saving options available to

reduce power consumption of the drive system. Savings of

up to 30% of the running power are achievable with a range

of standby power and hibernation settings to save up to 95%

during periods of inactivity.
