In healthcare it takes a vast number of disciplines to care for one patient and often, nurses are leading that charge. They collaborate with patients, families, other nurses and other healthcare providers to solve patient care problems and to provide quality care.

Join us for a new conference where we explore interdisci-plinary collaboration using a human centered design approach to identify and solve the problems that nurses encounter on a daily basis. Participants will expand their knowledge of interdisciplinary teamwork and implement the principles of design thinking to identify, build and present common solutions. Methods learned will be put into effect immediately not only in the work setting but also in multidisciplinary team building committees.

Raja Bhattacharya, director for the Follett Family Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship will be facilitating the conference. Raja is an expert in developing and implementing scalable entrepreneurial strategies with an emphasis on design thinking and sustainability. Class A Refresher CourseCourse is designed for the student with previous verifiable theoretical instruction and/or practical experience. Hands-on instruction will prepare student to take necessary exams to obtain a Class A CDL. Total minimum hours of instruction are 160. The day course is four weeks in length and runs Monday–Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM. The evening course is five weeks in length and runs Monday–Friday from 5:00PM-10:00PM plus Saturday from 8:00AM-4:30PM. Career counseling and job placement assistance are available. Recreational Vehicle Driver EducationWould you like to drive your RV with more confidence? If you answered yes, this course is for you. You will attend a classroom session that will teach you the theory of safe driving. Then you will practice backing skills and driving your RV on a variety of roads with an instructor.
