DescriptionHe has a white stripe on his head. He is very furry with two very black strips running down from its ears to the side of its snout. His body is a desert color. Its claws and its nose help it survive. It is 30 inches long and weighs 22 pounds . The badger is a mammal.

HabitatThe badger lives in the United States and southern Canada. It prefers plains. It lives on flat lands. It eats rodents by opening their burrows. .

Life cycle
The badger lives up to 26 years. The badger has 2 to 7 young. They are nursed by their mother until they are 2 to 3 months old. The mother gives them solid food before they are weaned..
