Life is full of contradictions and the multiple roles that we all play. This introduction to me is simply a short snippet, a snapshot of my life. I am so much more, as we all are. However, I hope you enjoy this window into some of the parts I play.

While I find IST-501 to be a tedious class, after further reflection, I know it is one of the classes that I have learned the most in thus far. Thank You! I like the youtube video angles you give us each week, it is very lovely and you always seem so friendly and happy.

I was born in China and now have moved to the USA. As you can see on the right is my mom and my father when I was a child. On the left is my husband and me.

Of course, there are cultural conflicts and longings for home, but I am overall very happy.

Fashionable and Mom

Becoming mom has changed my life. I used to be fashionable and dress beautifully, but now it is all sweats all the time. It is an interesting change and I hope to become fashionable mom soon. Patron of the Arts

Patron of Peace

I love musicals and plays and it is one luxury I enjoy when I have the opportunity. In addition, another thing I feel strongly about is equality and peace. However, unlike the arts, peace and equality should not be considered a luxury. We must know history and strive to make the world a better place.

Exercise is essential to living a happy healthy existence, even for people with my athletic prowess

I love playing and learning sports. If anything, I am an amateur, but getting out with friends or by myself and playing is wonderful. I feel so much better after getting some exercise. I have always been skinny and weak, so I am truly not very athletic. Animal Lover

I think how we treat animals and the least amongst us is a reflection of us as a society. I love that there are so many happy and healthy animals in Monterey. From the otters, seals, brave seagulls, deer and other animals it shows that we live in a special place. On the sea of life

With all of the stresses and difficulties in life, we must enjoy the journey. Life is not always about where we end up. The pleasure and enjoyment of the journey is important. You must grab a hold of life and ride the waves, steer, and see where you finally arrive. On your journey you can.Stop and take a deep breath

Sit down and have a rest

Smell the flowers, the journey is as important as the destination.

It is equally important to take time out and rest, enjoy the beauty around us. Flowers bloom, seasons change, nature is crisp and clear. Why be so stressed that you miss that. Take a moment to revel in the beauty of the day. But never forget to feed the birds

The globe is the hyperlink. I have been watching a lot of Disney movies in order to determine which are suitable at what age for my baby. I love musicals and old Disney movies. In particular, the singing in Marry Poppins is spectacular.

When I first got to the USA, I was amazed at how brave the birds were. I still enjoy seeing the wonder of their flight. Feeding the birds is a simple pleasure that can be done for next to nothing. IST-501: Advanced PowerPoint Assignment
