Rockabilly by: Bil Curry Rockabilly is an early 50s style that often retained the swing feel of the 40s combined with a small but high energy band (guitar, slap-bass, & drums). This style was the beginning of rock & roll. Buddy Holly, early Elvis, Bill Haley, and more recently The Stray Cats are examples of the Rockabilly style. Setup is as follows:
Style: Rockabilly or 50s Swing Rock / 50s Guitar Rock Sound: Country Guitar (look in the Country Category) or any other guitar soundNotes - Set your tempo to whatever is comfortable you. You may need to practice page 2 at a much slower tempo until you feel you know the notes. When you have Fake It! on your Lowrey, you can substitute that feature for the improvisation. Even better, play the improvisation the 1st time through then repeat the song (no Intro) and substitute Fake It! the 2nd time you get to the improvisation. Dont forget to change the chords when using Fake It!. Stop Fake It! and press the Ending button to finish. Have fun!
