Background

• 2002 – Proposed in the Bikeway and Pedestrian Master Plan

• 2004 – Prioritized by the Hike and Bike Task Force and adopted by City Council as a High Priority

• 2008 – Funding included in bond referendum approved by voters ($4.4 million)

• 2011 – Awarded contract to Halff Associates to conduct a preliminary design study

• May 2012 – Route alternatives presented to Council

• January 2013 – Awarded design contract to Halff Associates
