Licensing as a Candidate or Appraiser

When you complete your pre-licensing

education and RECA receives and accepts

your CCRC, your licence dashboard appears

in Current Licences within the Licensing tab,

including the Apply for Appraiser Licence

button and your appraisal organization and

designations.

Confirm your contact information and read all

instructions carefully.

Confirm your appraisal association and

designations. If they are incorrect, you must

submit a new letter of good standing before

applying for your licence. Please contact RECA if

this is the case.

Provide your Business name (can be the business

you’re affiliated with), and the business contact

information.

Read the instructions carefully and answer the

questions truthfully.

Give your authorizations and acknowledgements

then pay your licensing fee.

Find your application in My Applications within the

My Account tab. It is waiting for you to upload

your supporting documentation. Click Complete

to start uploading.

Once RECA approves your

application, the status changes to

Approved. RECA will notify you by

email.

After licensing, your licence

dashboard shows Authorized, has a

green light and a certificate is

available for download.
