The overall objective of the project is to improve health status of the population of Libya in the area of HIV/AIDS and other ID.
Strengthen the capacity of the Government of Libya to develop appropriate approaches in the management of HIV/AIDS and other ID through the provision of TA and training.

formulate a National HIV Strategy that addresses Libya’s priority issues for HIV prevention and care
obtain critical biological, social and behavioural estimates to guide and assess the strategy
analyze these data and draw evidence based conclusions from them
