To get better results use “Limit your results”
3 tips for searching databases
• For most databases, to keep phrases together use double quotation marks.
Example: “database searching”
• Use the keywords of your research question, not the whole question.
• Use “limiters” or search options to keep your results to a manageable number.
Online Research Guides
• Called LibGuides
• Found on the library webpage under “Research”
• Anyone can use them- even off campus, no log-in needed
• lots of information on materials, links to good websites, etc.
