500,000+ film rolls

• Audiovisual Collections, which include– Sound and video recordings – TV broadcasts – Motion picture film

• LC oversees 4 million film + sound collection items in

cold vaults in Culpeper, Virginia.

• Obsolete playback equipment means collections at risk
