You can renew books and request books from other libraries.

Why do I need to know the barcode number on my student ID?

This number is used as your library barcode number, and you will need it to create your own account in the library catalog, to search for articles and other online library resources from off campus, and to access library articles professors may post on their coursepage on Union/Moodle.
