Day 04: Celle, Hameln & Dortmund

We are leaving Hamburg in the morning for the city of Celle – here you can find more then 500 well-preserved half timbered houses in the old town. Also worth seeing is the renaissance castle. Also very scenic is Hamlin, the city of the pied piper. If you follow the trace of the little mice painted on the pavement you will pass by all the sights of the town. In the afternoon we are leaving for the city of Dortmund.

Day 05: Cologne and the River Rhein

In the morning we are heading for Cologne, where you will enjoy a visit to the largest gothic church in Europe – Cologne Cathedrale, before we start to our city tour of that lively city on the banks of the river Rhine which also will include a visit to the chocolate museum. In the afternoon we will drive along the beautiful Rhein Valley to Ruedesheim, where we will have a walk through the famous “ Drosselgasse”. before we are heading for Frankfurt.

Day 06: Worms & Mainz

In the morning we are visiting Worms where martin Luther stood before the Reichstag and was banned. Worms has an impressive cathedrale, a Luther statue and the Jewish quarter & cemetery. On we go to Mainz, found by the Romans in 38 bc has not only impressive sights like the Cathedrale, the old town etc, but also the Gutenberg museum which we will visit, where you can see a replica of Gutenbergs printing office, where he invented the first printing press in the 15th century. Also displayed is the Gutenberg bible. In the evening we will have a welcome dinner in the old part of Frankfurt called Sachsenhausen.

Day 07: Eisenach, Weimar & Zwickau

After breakfast we are going to the eastern part of Germany and our first stop is the castle Wartburg, where Martin Luther lived as “Junker Joerg” while translating the New Testament. Afterwards we will visit the city of Weimar, called the “City of German classic”, where numerous artists like the authors Schiller & Goethe or famous composers like Bach & Liszt. Also was in Weimar the birthplace of the Bauhaus architectural style. Next destination is Zwickau, where the Trabant car was built. In the afternoon we are heading Dresden.



Day 08: Dresden & Meissen

From Zwickau it is just a short ride to Dresden, where we will show you the beautiful sights like the re-built Frauenkirche which was destroyed in WW II, the Green Vault, the Zwinger, the Semper Opera and mayn more. Just a few miles from Dresden is the town of Meissen where we will take a visit to the porcelain factory. Next stop is the so called “City of Luther” – Wittenberg. Here we will do an inside visit to the Luther house and you will see the church where he nailed his 95 thesis. Your Itinerary Day 01: Arrival in Germany / Transfer

Arrival in Berlin and Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Berlin where your tour starts. Rest of the day for leisure.


In the morning we will have our city tour of Berlin with all the major sights of the German capital. You will experience the Brandenburger Gate, the Alexanderplatz, the Reichstag, Kurfuerstendamm, Checkpoint Charlie, the Gedaechtniskirche and many, many more. In the afternoon our guide will offer an optional tour to Potsdam incl. a visit to Sanssouci Palace Overnight in Berlin. In the evening we will have a nice Welcome Dinner in a typical “ Berliner Kneipe” .

In the morning we are heading for Cologne, where you will enjoy a visit to the largest gothic church in Europe – Cologne Cathedrale, before we start to our city tour of that lively city on the banks of the river Rhine which also will include a visit to the chocolate museum. In the afternoon we are heading for Frankfurt.

Day 06: Ruedesheim - Rhein Cruise – Loreley - Heidelberg Meet and greet with your tourguide in the lobby of your hotel followed by a short drive on to Ruedesheim where we will have a walk through the famous Drosselgasse and then visit one of Germanys best wine shops before boarding the Rhine steamer to do a scenic cruise passing nice villages & castles. From St. Goarshausen where we leave the boat we go on to Heidelberg where we will visit the famous castle before walking through the old town. Day 07: Black Forest - Romantic Road – Lake Titisee – Cuckoo clocks In the morning we are heading south for the Black Forrest. On this scenic route you will have several stops, one of them will be at Triberg where the famous cuckoo clocks are built and another one the beautiful Lake Titisee. Day 08: German Alpine Road –Neuschwanstein Castle - Innsbruck After breakfast we are taking the German Alpine Road to the Wies church on of the most beautiful rococo churches in Germany. On we go to Hohenschwangau where we will visit Neuschwanstein Castle built by King Ludwig II. Afterwards we will be crossing the Austrian border and drive on a scenic route to Innsbruck, capital of



Tyrol, where we will make a walking tour to show you the important sights of the city like the Golden Roof. Day 09: Swarowsky – Eagle`s Nest – Salzburg From Innsbruck it is not far to the Swarovsky Kristallwelten in Wattens built by plans of the famous Austrian Artist Andre Heller. Our next stop today will be Eagle´s Nest based on the Obersalzberg close to berchtesgaden, where you will have a magnificent view over the Alps and Lake Königssee. Our next destination will be Salzburg. Day 10: Salzburg – Munich In the morning we will have a walking tour of Salzburg besides the well known sites like Getreidegasse, the cathedrale also incl. a visit to Mozart´s birthplace. And don´t forget to try the famous sweets the „Mozartkugeln“. Around noon we are heading for Munich where we will first visit Nymphenburg castle before our guide will show you the sights of the Bavarian capital like the Residence, Maximilian- & Leopoldstreet, the Opera, the Olympic Grounds, the Marienplatz with the City Hall and may more. Day 11: Medieval Town of Nuremberg After breakfast we are leaving Munich and heading north to Nuremberg. On our orientative city tour we will show you the Reichsparteitagsgelände, courtroom 600, the beautiful old town, with Hauptmarkt, Kaiser Castle, City Wall, Dürer House and St. Sebaldus Church. Enjoy the rest of day for shopping and relaxing in one of Germanys most beautiful cities. Day 12: Rothenburg ob der Tauber – Wuerzburg In the morning we are following the castle Road to Rothenburg o.d. Tauber, the Medieval jewel of Germany. On you walking tour of Rothenburg you will see the almost totally preserved town wall, the Jacob Church with the wood carved altar made by Tilman Riemenschneider, the city hall etc. From here we go to Wuerzburg, where we will take a visit to the Residence a masterpiece from the baroque. Also worth seeing is the Juliusspital, the cathedrale and the city hall. In the afternoon we are heading back to Frankfurt. In the evening we will have a Farewell Dinner in the old part of Frankfurt called Sachsenhausen. Day 13: End of the Tour After breakfast Transfer to the airport or individual Extension.

In the morning we are visiting Worms where martin Luther stood before the Reichstag and was banned. Worms has an impressive cathedrale, a Luther statue and the Jewish quarter & cemetery. On we go to Mainz, found by the Romans in 38 bc has not only impressive sights like the Cathedrale, the old town etc, but also the Gutenberg museum which we will visit, where you can see a replica of Gutenbergs printing office, where he invented the first printing press in the 15th century. Also displayed is the Gutenberg bible. In the evening we will have a welcome dinner in the old part of Frankfurt called Sachsenhausen.

Day 03: Eisenach, Weimar & Zwickau

After breakfast we are going to the eastern part of Germany and our first stop is the castle Wartburg, where Martin Luther lived as “Junker Joerg” while translating the

New Testament. Afterwards we will visit the city of Weimar, called the “City of German classic”, where numerous artists like the authors Schiller & Goethe or famous composers like Bach & Liszt. Also was in Weimar the birthplace of the Bauhaus architectural style. Next destination is Zwickau, where the Trabant car was built. Continiue to Dresden.


From Zwickau it is just a short ride to Dresden, where we will show you the beautiful sights like the re-built Frauenkirche which was destroyed in WW II, the Green Vault, the Zwinger, the Semper Opera and mayn more. Just a few miles from Dresden is the town of Meissen where we will take a visit to the porcelain factory. Next stop is the so called “City of Luther” – Wittenberg. Here we will do an inside visit to the Luther house and you will see the church where he nailed his 95 thesis. In the late afternoon we will arrive in Berlin.(B)
