Transcript of Lib crit of marx
Marxist’s say that they can achieve justice by meeting
the needs of every person in their society.
“From each according to his ability, To each according to his need.”
Liberals argue that Marxists are in denial of the nature of man
Man is self-interested and egotistic – he will only do something that benefits himself. A
system that functions on communal benevolence is in direct contradiction to the
very nature of man.
Therefore the system will implode from within.
Man needs an incentive, itis part of his nature to only
be motivated if he has a personal stake.
Liberals argue that Marxist Societies will be incapable
of meeting sustainable Gross Domestic Product
targetsto realistically meet the needs
of their whole society.

Marxist’s say that they can achieve justice by meeting the needs of every person
in their society.•Man is self interested and because their
system relies on a termination of self-interest,the goals they hope to achieve fall flat .• This system of justice fails to meet
its own criterion becausethey become unable to meet even the most primary needs of their society. • In truth the system implodes and
becomes horribly unjust.
