LG OVERVIEW I Can Love Like Jesus March Weeks 1 and 2 February 28 th /March 1 st WORSHIP LEADER: “Friends! I am so excited to see you today! We have a whole new month together to worship God! Isn’t that awesome?! This month we are learning that we can love like Jesus. So when I say, ‘How can I love?’ you say, ‘I can love like Jesus.’ Let’s try it. How can I love?” CHILDREN and WORSHIP LEADER: “I can love like Jesus.” WORSHIP LEADER: “Great job! Do you know what one way to love like Jesus is? Sharing. When we share, we are loving like Jesus. We have a new song to sing this month that’s all about loving Jesus. Let’s go! Lead children in singing “Shout” and “Great Big God”. WORSHIP LEADER: “What incredible singers you are! Thanks so much for singing with me. How can I love?” CHILDREN and WORSHIP LEADER: “I can love like Jesus.” WORSHIP LEADER: “That’s right! I can love like Jesus! The Bible tells us to love each other. Jesus loves us and He wants us to love each other. In fact, that’s what our Memory Verse is about this month: loving each other. Let’s learn our Memory Verse together. Are you ready? Watch me say it and do the motions, and then you can do it with me! ‘Love each other as I have loved you.’ John 15:12, NIV. She wanted to love people just like Jesus did.
