BeforeUsing

WhatisLGEzSignTVEditor?LGEzSignTVEditorallowsyoutocreateadvertisingcontentquicklyandeasilybyprovidingawizard-typeuserinterface.StartLGEzSignTVEditorandsimplyfollowthewizard'sstepstocreateandpreviewyourowncontent.ThecontentcreatedusingLGEzSignTVEditorcanbeplayedonLGEzSignTVwithouttheneedforanyseparatehardwareorsoftware,oritcanbeplayedalongwithTVprograms.

5 IfAdobeAIRisnotinstalledonyourcomputer,aninstallationwindowappears.Ontheinstalla-tionwindow,clickAccepttoinstallAdobeAIR.ꔈ IfthecurrentversionofAdobeAIRisalreadyinstalledonyourcomputer,clickCloseintheinstallationwindow.

ꔈ IfyoudonothavethecurrentversionofAdobeAIRinstalledonyourcomputer,clickUpdateforaversionupdate.

6 Whentheinstallationiscomplete,clickFinish.

Noteꔈ IfyouuseWindows7asyouroperatingsys-tem,rebootthecomputerafterinstallingLGEzSignTVEditor.

RemovingLGEzSignTVEditorToremoveLGEzSignTVEditorfromyourcomput-er,clickStart>All Programs>LG EzSign TV Editor>Remove LG EzSign TV Editor.

InstallingLGEzSignTVEditor

1 Double-clickthesetup.exefile.

2 Clickthedrop-downmenuinthepop-upwin-dowtoselectapreferredlanguage,andclickOK.

3 WhentheLGEzSignTVEditorWizardappearsonthescreen,clickNEXT.

Noteꔈ Ifapreviousversionoftheprogramisalreadyinstalledonyourcomputer,clickYesinthepop-upwindowtoremoveitbeforeinstallingthecurrentversion.Allthecontentandpro-graminformationstoredinthepreviousversionwillbedeleted.Ensurethatyousavethecon-tentyouneedseparatelybeforeremoving/re-installingtheprogram.

4. Selectthedirectoryinwhichtoinstallthepro-gram,andclickInstall.Theprogramwillbeinstalledautomatically.

Alternatively,clickOpeninthebottomleftofthewindowtoselectausertemplatesavedonyourcomputer.

Noteꔈ Youcanopentemplatessavedinotherdirecto-riesorcontentfilescreatedpreviouslybyclick-ingOpeninthebottomleftofthewindow.OpeningacontentfilewillmoveyoutoStep"2.Addingimages".

2. ClickTemplate Previewinthebottomrightofthewindowtopreviewtheselectedtemplate.Apreviewoftheselectedtemplateappearsinthewindow.

Alternatively,click inEdit Photoortheimageboxtoselectimagessavedonyourcomputer.

Bydefault,theimageselectedisalignedtothecenterandcroppedaccordingtotheratiooftheimagebox.

2. Usetheoptionsbelowtoedittheselectedimage.

Replacetheselectedimagewithanother.

Adjusttheimagetoshowthepartyouwanttodisplayintheimagebox.

Deletetheselectedimage.

Noteꔈ Tochangetheplaybacksequenceoftheimag-es,dragthemintotheorderyouwanttoplaythemin.

Noteꔈ ThefileformatssupportedforimagesareGIF,JPEG,PNG,andBMP.

ꔈ SelectedGIForBMPfilesareautomaticallyconvertedtoJPEGfilesbeforebeingshown.Theconversionmaydecreasetheimagequalitydependingonthequalityoftheoriginalfile.

ꔈ 4-bitBMPfilesarenotrecommendedduetopoorquality.

ꔈ Imageslargerthan4095pixelsinwidthorheightarenotallowed.

1. ClickPreviewtoseethepreviewofthecontentcreated.ClickingthepreviewautomaticallyrunsthePanelSaverfunctiontopreventimagestick-ing,whichcanoccurwhenplayingthecontentonaTV.Theoriginalcontentplaysbackfor15secondsfollowedbytheadjustedcontentfor15seconds.

2. ClickPrevioustogobacktothepreviousstepandmodifythecontent.

4. ConnecttheUSBdevicetothecomputertoplaythecontentcreatedonLGEzSignTV.WhentheUSBdeviceisconnected,thedrop-downmenutoselectaUSBstoragedeviceandtheExport to USBoptionareenabled.

Noteꔈ IfotherexistingcontentfilesarefoundontheUSBdevice,theyareoverwrittenwiththenewcontentfiles.Itisrecommendedtosavethetemplatebefore/afterexportingit.

ꔈ IfmultipleUSBdevicesareconnected,youcanselecttheoneyouwouldliketousebyclickingthedrop-downmenu.

ꔈ IfnoUSBdeviceisconnected,theInsert USB Memorymessageappearsatthebottomofthedrop-downmenu.

6. ClickOKinthepop-upwindowtocompletetheexport.

Noteꔈ DonotchangethedefaultsettingsontheUSBdeviceforthe"save"directorylocation.Ifthe"save"directoryischangeditwillpreventthecontentfromplayingautomatically.

Panel Saver

Imagestickingiswhenanimageoroutlineofapreviousimageappearsonthescreenevenaftertheimagehaschanged.Topreventimagesticking,inLGEzSignTVEditortheimagesofthecontentareflippedandadifferentbackgroundcolorisusedforfiveminutesafterthecontentisplayedforonehour.Afterfiveminutes,thecontentisplayedinitsoriginalformat.
