    PROCETT 5000W is a SCADA systemdesigned specially for real-timemonitoring and supervision of RemoteTerminal Units (RTUs). Variousapplication are possible such as powerplant control, electricity transmission or

    distribution networks as well as industrialplants. Its modular design both forhardware and software makes it ideallysuitable to handle a Local Human-Machine Interface (HMI), or a powerfulSCADA system.

    PROCETT 5000W can be connectedthrough an Ethernet network to a PC-Based Energy Management Systemwhich realizes Power managementfunctions in pseudo real-time.

    PROCETT 5000W is a mature productdeveloped to work on a PC-Basedarchitecture (desktop or industrial

    computer), in Windows environmentand offering a full 32-Bits real-timeoperating system.

    The communication with RTUs can useInternal Transmission Interface (ITI)coupler or external Front-End (ITE) whichallows the use of several independentcommunication media (PL: Private Line,OF: Optic Fiber, PSTN: Public Switched

    Telephone Network, Radio, ...).

    The real-time monitoring consists of thedata acquisition for remote signallings(RS), countings (RCT) and measurements(RM) through RTUs distributed in powerplants. The remote controls (RC) areexecuted through RTUs. From eachSCADA master station, a window allowsto access the selection before sending aRC, to which a access control windowcan be associated to introduce apassword in order to secure the RC. AllInputs/Outputs are processed viadistributed real-time RTUs.

    Time synchronisation can be realisedusing an external clock through seriallink.
