What is a CRM System?

1. Candidate Relationship Management2. ATS = Applicants, CRM = Suspects

and Prospects3. A place to build talent pipelines ahead

of demand from the business4. A place to ENGAGE candidates on an

ongoing basis5. End of CRM process begins Applicant

process

Req-Less Recruiting

ATS hiring model starts with opening a requisition

www.avature.netCopyright © 2011 Avature. All Rights Reserved.

Req-Less Recruiting

CRM Model starts with talent regardless of requisition status

www.avature.netCopyright © 2011 Avature. All Rights Reserved.

Req-Less Recruiting

Key Advantages

1.Can recruit talent all the time, regardless of requisition(s) status (think interns/students)

2.Does not require talent to work your through your online application process which historically results in VERY low conversion (~5%)

3.Opens up a whole new world of Web 2.0 recruitment advertising opportunities (more on this later)

4.Begin building your own talent asset – your own direct candidate database

Portals/Gateways

Simply, a portal is a webpage where a candidate fills out a form that creates their record in the CRM database

Example: http://raytheon.avature.net/talentnetwork

1.No search and apply, not requisition based

2.Easy conversion for candidate

3.Capture whatever data you want, customizable by portal

Portals/Gateways

Example: https://www.unionbankcareers.com/college_recruitment.html (under Apply Today > click here)

Tweeting

• Your portal has a URL • That URL can be manually modified to add information to the

candidates record when they complete the registration process• Linked to a talent community• Add tags• Set the source

Example:• http://ub.avature.net/collegerecruitment is the portal URL• I want to tweet that we are looking for Credit Associates AND I

want that information to be captured on the record when people respond to my tweet AND I want to know they came from Twitter

• I can add ?tag=“credit associates”&tag=twitter to the URL so that the link is now http://ub.avature.net/collegerecruitment?tag =“credit associates”&tag=twitter

• When the person completes their registration they will also be tagged “credit associate” and twitter

Conclusion

• The CRM enables req-less recruiting

• Free yourself from the college recruitment cycle

• Web 2.0 is cool for students – they live with this technology everyday!

• You’re seen as a great, modern place to work

• Your competitors are doing it

• It’s not expensive

• It provides tremendous value and efficiency into what you already do every day

• You can prove to your organization that this can work across multiple recruiting segments – military hiring, events, employee referrals, etc.
