Sales & Distribution is generally one of the key challenges in a SAP project because it is the revenue generation module for the Business. It is the key interface with all the modules in SAP from Human Resource Management, Customer Relationship Management & all other logistics modules.

Every company business is unique & so is their business process.

In a Manufacturing Environment, every raw material is taken into account for costing & pricing along with the complications of the duties and taxes.

In a Trading Environment, the pricing structure will be slightly modified with the Base price.

In a Retail Environment, Invoices are prepared in Point of Sale Solutions. Here all the invoices collected in a day are triggered back to SAP R/3 with base price & discount.

We’ll also see the pricing structure in CIN (In case of FI) & CO (In case of Profitability Analysis).

We’ll discuss about the different Item Category Groups & Status Profile Definitions for locking & unlocking the sales order.

We’ll also cover the document types, order, billing, delivery, shipment, shipment cost, etc…

Order Status, Picking, Packing, Outputs and Text determination are also on our scope.

Meetings…meetings…Non stop meetings…Blueprint Phase is generally the most important (& boring) part of the project!

If you do not do sufficient prototyping during this phase, you will be talking in the air and the client can only hope that the implementation will go on well…

Even worse, you might not be able to make the system work in the way, you had believed it would, by (mis) understanding the SAP help documentation!! And mid-way into the realization phase, you will be forced to re-design your solution.

We will avoid this scenario, once and for all!

This training on “Real time Project Scenario’s for Sales & Distribution” will replicate a blue-print phase of a project. The Shoubii Consultants will play the dual role of the client Business Manager as well as a Solution Architect of a project.

The Business Manager will explain the actual business scenarios. Then we will get into some discussion to understand the requirement. Finally the Solution Architect will give a direction on how it has to be mapped in SAP.
