Level 3 Award and Level 3 Certificate in Workplace Coaching Learn the knowledge and skills to coach as part of your normal work role, or enhance these skills to progress into a development role within your organisation, or freelance as a workplace coach. Synergia Coaching and the ILM: We have been delivering both accredited and non-accredited coaching, mentoring and leadership development programmes to private and public sector organisations since 2004. This year, in alliance with the ILM and in direct response to client demand, we have developed our own ILM-approved course. Many of you have recognised that whilst in-company training develops managers to a very high standard, it may not necessarily provide recognisable and transferrable skills outside of the immediate organisation. Our ILM-accredited awards redress this by providing access to a quality learning experience that is acknowledged and valued amongst the wider business community and which significantly develops your leadership skills and knowledge. The Synergia Coaching Team: Our tutorial team are all specialists in their field and bring a wide range of professional expertise from both the private and public sectors. Experienced coaches, mentors and facilitators, the team are skilled in executive coaching, leadership development, 360 degree feedback, psychometric testing, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and coaching supervision. Our Approach: The whole ethos of the coaching and mentoring programme is one of flexibility and context. Our blended learning approach ensures that everything in your programme relates to your work environment, and as a result the work you complete will directly improve the performance of your organisation and its people. Our Coaching and Mentoring Programmes: Increasingly in our world of global competition, excellence in management is seen as the key to organisational survival and growth. Coaching helps others to identify and clarify their career expectations; develop personal growth and is one of the many ways of engaging and motivating your staff to better personal and organisational performance. Level 3 Award in Workplace CoachingIf you’re looking to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to coach as part of your normal work role, then the Level 3 Award in Workplace Coaching is perfect for you.

You’ll attend three days of face-to-face, tutor-led learning after which you’ll be able to:

• Understand good practice in workplace coaching by exploring the role, responsibilities, characteristics and behaviour of the workplace coach

• Organise workplace coaching by looking at the range and value of different learning resources to support safe and effective coaching

• Undertake six hours of supervised coaching in your workplace.

You’ll also:

• Complete a written assignment which assesses your ability to plan workplace coaching and perform effectively as a workplace coach

• Maintain a coaching diary to reflect on your 6 hours of workplace coaching.

Once you’ve completed your Level 3 Award in Workplace Coaching you may wish to continue your studies and achieve the Level 3 Certificate for Professional Workplace Coaches or the Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management. We’re here to support you on your professional journey.

Our dedicated ILM coaching programmes can be held either in-house or at our modern two-storey building based on Staffordshire Technology Park. Typically completed within a 20-week timeframe, our Level 3 programmes are held throughout the year.

Level 3 Certificate for Professional Workplace CoachesThis certificate enhances the knowledge and skills you gained in the Level 3 Award, enabling you to move into a development role within your organisation or to freelance as a workplace coach.

To achieve your ILM Level 3 Certificate you will attend a further two days of tutor-led learning where you will:

• Develop and improve your performance as a workplace coach by planning, organising and evaluating at least 30 hours of coaching practice with the support of a coaching supervisor

• Maintain a reflective coaching diary over a minimum of 30 hours supervised coaching activity.

Once you have completed your Level 3 Certificate for Professional Workplace Coaches you may wish to continue your studies and achieve the Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management.

As the ILM Level 3 Certificate follows the completion of the Level 3 Award, it is normally added on making the programme five days in total (3+2).
