Here’s our plan for this week:
A Letter To My New Teacher Miss Stanworth is going to miss you all so
much and is so proud of everything you have achieved at home and in school, but now it is time to move on and meet your new teacher! This week you are going to write a letter to your new teacher! This letter will include everything about you: your likes and dislikes, hobbies, fun facts and so much more! You are going to plan
and organise your letter this week and then at the end of the week, finally write your letter and draw a portrait of yourself! Of
course, you do not know your new teacher yet, however you will find out this exciting information when you receive your end of
year report!

In order to write a successful letter to your new teacher you should include:
● All the correct features of the layout of a letter.● A clear set of paragraphs which introduce qualities about
yourself.● Questions to ask your new teacher, possibly about the new
year or about them.● A formal tone, remember this letter will be your new
teachers first impression of you!● Show what you know! You can show off your excellent use
of vocabulary and punctuation in this letter that will blow your new teacher away!
● Conclude your letter effectively, with a nice and friendly message.
