October 27, 2011 Dear vendors and neighborhood partners of The Sarah Community: Since our opening in 1999, The Sarah Community has been a place for serving those with long term care and retirement needs in the Bridgeton community and surrounding areas. We are proud to say we are taking our commitment to quality service and individualized-care to the next level. In late July, the Board of Directors for The Sarah Community approved the design and concept for a new Anna House. St. Andrew’s Management Services, along with BSI Constructors, Hercules Construction Management Company, and The Lawrence Group Architects have been selected for the project. Beginning in November, we will start construction on an updated version of our Anna House skilled nursing home. The details of the groundbreaking will be announced soon and we invite you to be a part of this special moment. A new Chapel will also be built utilizing congregational and private funds. This reflects the faith of The Sarah Community’s Five Founding Orders of Religious Women and this unifying chapel will enable the Sisters and laity to worship together. Support for the new Chapel from corporations, foundations, and individuals in the St. Louis Community will be sought. As The Sarah Community embarks on this special journey to upgrade the look and feel of one of the nation’s top nursing homes with the construction of a new Anna House, we thank you for partnering with us as we strive to provide the highest level of quality care.
