He has been working under my supervision in our customer service department for 11 months. Richard was initially hired 16 months ago as project manager for our pool/spa construction department, where he first handled overseeing the construction of an ornamental water fountain at the entrance to the newly constructed GE Aviation plant in Asheville. Within a few weeks, it became obvious that Richard's natural skills set him apart from his peers, noticing his ability to communicate with the Engineers for GE and Vendors where he coordinated materials and delivery and staying within set budget for this project. He took it upon his self to build our current customer base and acquisitioning additional up sells and bring in new customers. He took this on with fervor and accomplished a great deal in opening up communications through social media and marketing of new customers building our base to all time volumes. . Richard gives new meaning to the term "multitasking." He can follow up on several issues at once, all the while displaying admirable patience and people skills. He has also suggested several ways to improve our customer service model, and we later adopted his ideas. I can assure that during the time Richard worked with us he was a highly competent worker with excellent communicative skills, capable of working under pressure, self-demanding and with a positive and impersonal attitude at all times. The professional also showed leadership abilities and determination. Richard analyzed all aspects of the job itself, and solved eventual problems very easily. We were able to see that he was very persuasive, and could motivate and help people develop without any difficulties.
