As one of her college professors, I am happy to recommend her to you. Reem was in my Organizational Diversity course this year, so my recommendation is based on our interactions in and around that course. As a student, Reem was a solid contributor. She brought a quiet, but attentive presence to class, frequently adding thoughts and questions to general class discussions. She also pursued class discussions outside of the classroom, evidencing a strong engagement with the course material. I expect Reem would bring the same level of engagement to her work life as well. I would describe Reem as having a high degree of professionalism. Her demeanor, whether addressing peers, professors, or members of the community, is consistently gracious and dynamic. She possesses a rare blend of self- confidence and respect for others, which would certainly be an asset in any work setting. She will be the kind of worker who is both determined, yet open to new ideas and feedback. Based on my observations, Reem has the ability to be diplomatic without losing her sense of purpose. This is a rare quality among young people, and would make her a good candidate for a public relations/human relations position. Overall, I am happy to recommend Reem to you. Should you have any questions or need further information, feel free to contact me ([email protected] or 513.556.5029). Sincerely, An affirmative action/equal opportunity institution

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to recommend Reem Abdelmalek as a prospective employee.

She possesses a rare blend of self-confidence and respect for others, which would certainly be an asset in any work setting.
