July 29, 2015 To whom it may concern: I would like to recommend Chris O’Toole for a position with your firm. I had absolutely no hesitation in hiring Chris when he walked into my office with such a positive and upbeat spirit and I would hire him again. He was employed with me for four years and his current school schedule enabled him not to work for me any longer. Chris did an excellent job in this position and was an asset to our child care program. He has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, can work independently or with a team, and is able to effectively multi-task to ensure that all projects were completed in a timely manner all while keeping the children safe. He helped children learn to communicate and get along with others, and encouraged feelings of empathy and mutual respect. He treated each child as an individual and recognized their strengths and weaknesses. He promoted a very loving atmosphere where everyone was accepted for themselves while helping each child feel accepted in the group. Chris was always willing to offer his assistance and had an excellent rapport with the staff, children and parents. He would be an asset to any organization and I recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue. Please let me know if you need additional information about this outstanding young man. Yours truly, Cindy Bowen Preschool Teacher/Director St. Gabriel Child Care
